Description

Candidate will be responsible for designing and building a system integration laboratory (SIL). This effort includes design of mechanical and electronic interfaces to support software development, integration and test efforts. Job Summary:

An Electromechanical Design Engineer is responsible for the design, documentation and production floor support of hardware (missile electronics, missile electrical cabling, airborne support equipment, ground support equipment and test sets.


Additional duties include investigation of discrepant hardware and test anomalies.
Skills:
Required:

Design experience with electrical cables, test sets, breakout boxes, 19” support equipment rack design
Proficiency with Creo Parametric 2.0 Cabling and Intralink.
Proficiency with ASME Y14.5M-1994 and generating detailed engineering drawings.
Proficiency with reading schematics for electrical cable assemblies in order to define and select connectors, backshells, splices, wiring, etc.
Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel)
Compliance to quality and safety policies at all times!
Must be a US Citizen
Physical Requirements – This work requires delicate handling, reaching, light lifting and may require a combination of sitting and standing as well as walking between test locations and occasional use of small step-ladders.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

The Mechanical HVAC Engineer will produce moderately-complex technical designs and some analysis mechanical to new and existing facility related systems in support of ULA Atlas V, Delta IV and future Vulcan Launch Operations at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Florida. The successful candidate, as part of ULA’s Engineering and Infrastructure Team, shall be required to produce accurate and detailed design drawings as well as generate validating system analysis calculations. He/she will gather information, perform field walk-downs, and create or revise electronic CAD files. The successful candidate should have at least 15 years of relevant experience in designing, building, modifying, testing and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems. Experience with chilled water and DX systems, ventilation and air distribution required. Engineer shall perform engineering thermodynamic, heat transfer and fluid/gas dynamic calculations. Apply knowledge of regulatory and certifying agency requirements to ensure product and/or service is in compliance. Apply knowledge of functional testing requirements to ensure product and/or service meets or exceeds customer expectations. Project support will also include generation of Statement of Work, Contractor contract documents for schedule integration, fabrication and installation phases. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate multiple construction activities and project schedules around launch activities. The successful candidate should be self-motivated and able to work productively without constant direct supervision. Skills:

Wire Design & Installation Engineer III & IV - (PA)

Description:
SEVERAL OPENINGS IN RIDLEY PARK, PA.

Develops and maintains cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Analyzes results and performs design reviews. Leads the team to analyze results and performs design reviews. Provides engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests). Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities. Develops complex statements of work, metrics, schedules and budgets. Performs technical review of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection. Works under minimal direction.
Additionally...Candidates selected for this position will design, develop, maintain and release electronic / electrical / mechanical drawings and 3D MBD Model based definition data packages using CATIA V5. Duties include developing aircraft helicopter cockpit layouts, designing various instrument and switch panel assemblies, electronic boxes, avionics racks and shelves and all other aircraft type electrical and avionics aircraft installations. Responsible for investigating design precedents to document and maintain configuration control of engineering designs for use by downstream organizations, and developing aircraft electrical equipment configurations for multiple customers while applying company, industry, and governmental standards. Job requires strong technical skillset in CATIA V5 and 3D model based master definition engineering, as well as experience in creating and revising 2D engineering for details, assemblies, and installations for electrical equipment for aircraft applications. Experience with Teamcenter PDM is preferred.

Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
