Senior Engineering Recruiter

About The Opportunity: Senior Recruiter 

Support a large aerospace manufacturing tier one supplier to the global aviation industry. A leader in the manufacture of highly complex composite, carbon fiber and metallic aero structures and engine products, the business is equally focused on military and civil markets.

The Recruiter will be primarily responsible for posting, sourcing, pre-screening, and qualifying for all site non-exempt requirements. He/she will also access and build local talent pipelines utilizing media as well as City, State and Federal organizations. The recruiter will partner with local HR and business leaders to develop position requirements to attract talent. Will also interact with corporate exempt staffing center of excellence related to local exempt requirements and coordinate position description/interview/offer activity

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Actively source passive talent using recruiting techniques including but not limited to: Boolean Search Strings, Job Boards, Social Media, Cold Calling, networking events, job fairs, etc.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to both Hiring Managers and HR on the recruiting process and talent market conditions, to include the organization careers website.
  • Proactively and independently ensure that candidate pipelines are continuously full and the hiring process is moving forward according to plan.
  • Build strong relationships with site leadership and HR partners.
  • Effectively screen candidates for required skills and interpersonal traits need to fit the technical and cultural profile of the positions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting for non-exempt positions in a manufacturing/machining environment.
  • Due to export compliance, must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident.
  • Must have recent aerospace engineering recruiting experience 

Additional Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.)
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
