Electrical Engineer II

Description:
PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Electrical Engineer II for an open position in Benson, MN.
Entry Level 
  • This position will Design, fabricate, test, implement and modify electrical and/or electronic components, products and systems for use in agricultural equipment. 
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Participates as a member of a cross functional product development team in order achieve objectives for assigned projects. 
  • Support development of investments, timing plans, risk assessments & mitigation plans for assigned projects. 
  • Lead the design, development and validation needs to achieve product definition and technical requirements. 
  • Facilitates design review meetings, documents meeting minutes and tracks actions to closure for assigned projects. 
  • Participate in and support prototype builds and product launches. 
  • Provides technical support to explore and champion new electrical technologies. 
  • Remains current on engineering and/or agricultural technological developments and evolving field practices through field experiences 


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering 


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Ideal requirements include: engineering experience working with and troubleshooting electrical systems on Construction, Agricultural or off-highway equipment, experience with CAD and/or Vesys, and experience with solid modeling software (Creo 2 preferred) 
  • Basic understanding of electrical components to vehicle systems 
  • Interpersonal skills to be able to work successfully in a strong cross-functional team environment. 
  • Independent thinking in order to resolve issues. 
  • Proficiency in completion of major projects from conception to product release utilizing standard engineering release processes and tools. 
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision in order to commit to and meet established targets and deadlines. 
  • Ability to use specific electrical modeling software or modules to support electrical routing and harness design. 
  • Ability to use MS office suite of software (Word, Power Point, Excel). 
  • Or Electrical Engineer (3-6 years of experience)

Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or similar engineering degree with a focus in electrical sub-discipline is required. A minimum of 3-6 years of engineering experience working with and troubleshooting electrical systems on Construction, Agricultural or off-highway equipment. Experience with CAD and Vehsys. Experience with solid modeling software (Creo 2 preferred).
