Assistant Construction Project Manager
Assistant Construction Project Manager will assist the Construction Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Site Manager with day to day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontracts, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, client interface, field-based activities, and other duties required to execute EPC, construction management, and program management.
Assist with negotiating, approving and executing multiple type of prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders with suppliers, and change orders
Assist with developing and implementation of project execution plans and requirements
Coordinate potential bidders for contracting construction work, issuing bid documents, bid walks, meeting, registration and prequalification subcontractor
Schedule and coordinates activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate scope or a combination of smaller projects.
Direct coordination with superintendents and site manager to verify compliance of subcontractors with contract documents, safety and health requirements, quality, and schedule.
Facilitate and execute contract administration responsibility for RFIs, submittals, change management and claim mitigation.
Assist in project reporting status, risks, schedule and cost.
All other duties as assigned.
5-10 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or other related field from accredited program. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineered preferred. Minimum three years of relevant work experience required. Prior experience in electrical work preferred. Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Previous internship experience preferred.
