Advanced System/Software QA Engineer

Advanced System/Software QA Engineer
(US Citizenship Required*)
Orlando, FL

Join our team to work with our system lifecycle. We’re looking for a Systems Quality person or a Systems/Software Engineer who is interested in moving to System Quality.

• Technical review of documents, drawings, instructions and plans
• Review and monitor issues/defects
• Conduct audits (including preparation for ISO9001 and/or CMMI)
• Monitor/witness software/system testing
• Participate in programmatic reviews (Test Readiness Review, Deployment Readiness Review, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, System Requirement Reviews)
• Participate in process improvement

• Required – able to obtain Secret clearance
• Proficient in domain (hardware, software, systems, logistics, manufacturing) methodologies, tools, and standards
• Proficient in ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Proficient written and verbal communications, and in communicating issues, impacts, and corrective actions
• Able to think creatively and multi-task
• Contributes to the achievement of business objectives
• Able to clearly report relevant to sound quality engineering processes
• Able to sell concepts and ideas
• Proficient knowledge of interpretation of drawings
• Proficient in reviewing documents/drawings/instructions for conformance to requirements techniques
• Proficient in reporting quality activities, findings, and issues both in writing and verbally
• Proficient interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques
*US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
