Have a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Mass Properties engineering.
Are familiar with fuel burn sequencing, aircraft center of gravity principles, weighing reports, flight envelope (MZFW, NLG load, MTOW, MRW, MLW, etc.), load sheets, etc.
Have a background in aircraft performance, flight sciences and mechanical structures.
Are familiar with aircraft interior materials, including but not limited to composite panels, metallic structures and plastics.
Are familiar with engineering drawings, drafting principles, change management, and are comfortable reading engineering drawings.
Have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of Visual Basic is considered an asset.
Must have practical knowledge and experience of CATIA/Enovia V5.
Have the ability to resolve engineering problems in a manufacturing environment and able to manage very complex and critical engineering projects with minimal supervision.
Have strong communication skills both in English (written, spoken) and French (spoken).
Knowledge in Weight tracking in completion is a strong asset.
Must have practical knowledge and experience in aircraft structure and completion components.
