About the Role

We are looking for a Stress Engineer to join our team and work for our global client based in Winnipeg, Manitoba


Responsibilities:
Perform structural design studies from the pre-design stage through certification files
Create digital representation. To simulate, using different software, the performance of one or several parts of aircraft structures
Produce numerical simulations using finite element softwares
Perform RDM stress analysis via existing tools or by tools developed by the engineer (Macro VB, Matlab ...)
Write summary or certification reports
Conduct structural design studies from preconception phase to certification records
Produce and / or evaluate possible design solutions to improve quality, cost, weight and performance based on traditional strength calculations
Create a digital representation. Simulate, using a different software, the performance of one or more parts of aircraft structures
Produce numerical simulations using finite element software
Perform RDM stress analyzes using existing tools or tools developed by the engineer (Macro VB, Matlab ...)
Write summary or certification reports
Qualifications:


Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
5 - 15 Years of experience in aircraft interior monuments Stress Analysis
Very strong understanding in Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials
Experience in hand calculations using Bruhn , Niu and ESDUs
Hands on Experience in Finite Element Analysis using PATRAN / NASTRAN for Aircraft interior monuments such as Galleys , Wardrobes and cabinets etc
Hands on experience in Cabin interior retrofits
Through understanding of TCCA - FAA certification requirements
Very Good Communication and Coordination skills
